2008 Top Dogs of Minnesota Calendar Contest Winners!

We have received an unbelievable response with more than 300 entries for our first Top Dogs of Minnesota Calendar. This will become an annual fundraising event for Top Dog Foundation . . . the Sanctuary.

The winning dogs listed below will be featured in the 2008 calendar. We thank everyone who entered their dog(s). There were lots of great stories and the selections were difficult. We also received some great photographs from all the entries; so our goal is to incorporate as many of your photos as possible into some part of the calendar. If your dog was not selected as one of the 12 Top Dogs; and if you submitted clear, quality photos; they may still be inserted into the calendar.

Click here for an application for the 2009 Calendar. Entries are due January 1, 2008. All dogs featured in the calendar are nominated by their owners because they exemplify the qualities and characteristics that are embraced by Top Dog Foundation.

The judging criterion for Top Dogs of Minnesota is:

1. The story: Why is your dog a Top Dog? How has he/she impacted your life and
   the lives of others? Has he/she had to withstand abuse, hardships, or tragedy?
   Does he/she make a difference in the community?
2. The look: We are looking for all breeds and mixes. It is not just the cutest but also
   those with lots of personality.
3. Your (and your dog’s) interest and ability to participate in Top Dog Foundation
   events and promote the Sanctuary.
